Expansion agenda

Hey what’s up everybody? How y’all doing this fine Saturday afternoon? Forgive my tardiness in blogging, had my daughter Brooklynn for the past 4 days so we were having some quality time. =)
So I have finally found E.N.E.M.I. a sponsor-which I think is very cool. Downshift Apparel a local clothing company stepped up and said “let’s do it!” Now I ended up having a discussion with a friend the other day as to what I meant by “we got sponsored” so let me explain my idea of sponsorship here.
I am not looking for money people, I am not a parasite, all I am interested in is getting our name out there-so we can try to help people. So I saw Downshift Apparel and I spoke with their founder, they are a young local company-just like E.N.E.M.I. Now what we have to offer each other is our fanbase-and I don’t say fanbase like we are celebrities or any of that shit, I simply mean supporters. They have a website and a fb page, we have that and Twitter, YouTube,  and I am here at the Paresistance. So we have different appeal to different demographics-they are car orientated and we are paranormal orientated-and there are people into both. BAM! There is the crossover point where both sides can gain.
Hell all I’m gonna do is wear their shirts-which are really badass anyway-and help promote them. Perhaps real “sponsoring” involves money or equipment or whatever, but that’s not what this is about. Of course… anytime Monster wants to reconsider the way they shit on our proposal for them to sponsor us-you can call me. 😉 unless I start drinking some other energy drink…snooze you lose people.
                    Stay classy paranormal,

Here’s a random thought that has popped into my head over the past 3 days: “Always present yourself as what you really are.”
It had been a few months since I had to contact a potential client, and I’ve done it twice now in 3 days. Which is why I am so glad that I always keep it real, I never present myself or E.N.E.M.I. as anything more than we are. That is a fact.
I don’t “pad my stats” if you know what I mean, I don’t claim tons of investigations or years and years of experience to impress people. I’m honest. My life and paranormal “career” are matters of public record-Google me sometime- CJ Moschetto it’s all right there for you. I don’t guarantee that we can help the client, I always say “we will do our best to get you some answers and help you out.” Since I am not a para-scumbag I can’t promise “results” or evidence…because that just isn’t realistic.
At the very least the fact that people have somebody who will listen to them is comforting to them. They can openly admit their fears and experiences without any fear of judgement. Even if that is as far as it goes, even if they decide they don’t want an actual investigation-we still helped. We still comforted them. They may sleep a little better because of us. That is what I call a victory people, that is what this is all about.

                   Stay classy paranormal,

Now if you’ve been a fan of the E.N.E.M.I. Facebook page, or you’ve been following us on Twitter @E_N_E_M_I  chances are you have seen my hashtag #parahustle a bunch of times… but do you know the theory behind it or what it means? Perhaps you don’t even care or want to know what it means? Hahaha but if that is the case then you are screwed because I’m going to explain it anyway! It’s my blog I’ll do what I want with it! =p
From day one when I stepped into the paranormal community, I have brought a certain type of…..”hood”… mentality to how I approach things and how I operate. I know about the streets people, and I spent half my life on the wrong side of the tracks if you know what I mean-so the mentality is ingrained in me. When your on the streets you do what you have to do in order to survive, you have to “hustle” for the things you need. Hustle never sleeps because money never sleeps, your hustle has to be constant….sort of like how a shark has to stay in motion or it will drown. Did you know that about sharks? haha I am just a wealth of knowledge today!
So despite how easy it looks on Ghost Hunters, or Ghost Adventures, or Paranormal State, or whatever fabricated paranormal show you choose to watch-in reality things are not that simple. There is so much stuff and work that goes on behind the scenes that people may not even be aware of, especially if your a small team without a TV show or any sort of name recognition…people do not just throw their doors open and welcome you in. If I knocked on somebody’s door to inquire about investigating their home they would take one look at me and think they were about to be robbed and murdered, I just have that look about me I guess….
So how do you get your team’s name out there? Damned if I know, but here is what I have done for E.N.E.M.I. : Social media-we have a Facebook page, a Twitter account, a YouTube channel, we now have an actual website as well, I used to make flyers and hang them around the city, we have business cards, we have nice professional posters now, T-shirts, hats, I network like crazy with teams all over the world, I did almost 20 interviews last year on various paranormal shows, anything I can do to put E.N.E.M.I.’s name out there I will do, usually taking a huge hit in my wallet for my efforts. $80 for business cards, $50 for our posters, $100 on hats, $750 for 125 T-shirts, Danielle just spent almost $200 to get our website up and running-so that is over $1,000 just to let people know we exist in the hopes that they will call us if they ever have some paranormal problems….are you getting the point here?
All that work just to “market” your team, and I have about $1,000 in equipment, this sure as hell isn’t a cheap field to be involved in! Since we are not douchebag parasites we never charge a client-EVER. Hell there is another hit to the wallet-you want to investigate somewhere your gonna need gas to get there aren’t you? Add in all the time spent researching locations, making phonecalls, sending emails to different locations, trying to organize fund raisers to help people in the community, making more phonecalls, getting rejected, sending more emails, getting rejection emails, making more phonecalls, getting laughed at by people, etc… you ever seen all that shit on TV? Of course not people because the shows are “entertainment” first, and actual paranormal investigating a distant second. Everything I have mentioned…that is the heart of #parahustle, no matter what we keep working and we keep grinding, and we display more passion and dedication than most people in the field. That people is the theory of #parahustle…this is the reality of being a paranormal team. Are you up for it? We’ll see….

                                                              Stay classy paranormal,

Class is in session…

Good morning class, please everyone take your seats and settle down now….good. OK then, eyes forward and let us begin…
I just wanted to take a few minutes and explain the reason for my “Lessons” series of videos on YouTube. First of all let me assure you that I am nobody, I’m not famous, and I’m certainly not a “para-celebrity”, as always I am just one man with an opinion-who is not afraid to voice that opinion. The paranormal field is no different than the real world, there will be those who bite their tongue’s,  those who are afraid to speak up, and those who are confident enough to simply share their opinion-even if people don’t agree.
Can you guess which category I fit into? Haha see I don’t expect everyone to agree with me-and that is fine, because I don’t agree with a lot of things either. I do however respect people’s right to say what they want, even if I think they are stupid or pompous douchebags for what they said.
The other aspect is this: Unlike some people out there who count everytime they ever stepped in a cemetery as an “investigation”, I don’t bust my ass looking for places. People call me for help. When not busy with that I look for ways to keep myself busy and hopefully do something that people enjoy. “3 Minute Haunting” on YouTube is one little project, and most recently “Lesson #1” and “Lesson #2”. Just little videos where I offer my advice to people in the paranormal-even if they didn’t ask for it. Agree or disagree with me at least I know what I’m talking about, enough to at least share some knowledge with everybody. And that is my only goal around here, to inform people and illuminate the path to the truth.

                   Stay classy paranormal,

Putrid Smells=Demons=ParaBull

It is time for a rant instead of just a blog.  I normally do not rant, but this time I am.  You see I was watching one of the “Ghost Haunting” shows the other night.  (I am not naming the show because I do not want to get sued because they can’t take the truth.)  And as soon as they walked in they smelled a “putrid smell” and of course they automatically said that it was a “Demon”.  Really?  How do you know this?  You didn’t even take the time out to try and find where the supposed smell was coming from.  It could have been anything or nothing.  It could have been a dead animal, the heating and/or air unit, something that was used in cleaning, or the great possibility of someone’s body odor.  It is called debunking.  Which is something we as professionals are supposed to do.  Even if it can NOT be debunked does NOT mean it is a demon.  Some believe in demons and some don’t, but either way a putrid smell or odor does not mean demon or any other entity.  I really wish that people would stop trying to turn anything and everything into something evil or paranormal.  I am beginning to believe that people want to scare people more than help them and if this is the case it is wrong and you are the evil one in the place.  If someone in the paranormal field is doing this then they need to find another profession.

I do not believe that some of us realize what grief and pain and horridness that we put people through.  And by doing this it can be very dangerous.  I know for a fact that anyone can make anyone believe something that isn’t true.  It isn’t hard to convince someone they are smelling something that they really are not smelling.  Why? Because we as individuals want to believe and trust in the so called “professionals” that are supposed to be there to help people out.

Convincing someone that they have a “demonic entity” especially when they do not can be damaging in so many ways from health to financial.  By this I mean they can be so stressed out by this that health issues occur or they convince themselves, because of you, that they are the reason for it and they become depressed and full of anxiety that it could end up in homicide or suicide.  (I have come across this before…..I also clean up crime, trauma, and death scenes and i can tell you that when I find out the reason someone has killed themselves because they couldn’t take the evil entities that are “lurking” about, it upsets me so much especially when I find out it is because someone else told them that there was one around.  Until you come across this personally I do not think you can understand the impact it has on a person.)

So I am saying this today to EVERYONE in or out of the paranormal industry…..STOP!!!!!  We are not here to ruin people’s lives but instead to help them.

It can also put people in financial ruins.  Example:  A newly married couple just sank $200,000 into their first home and haven’t been there but a couple of months.  New area, new jobs, new marriage.  Now they have been told they have a demonic entity, and they can not handle this so they sale their new home for a lot less than what they paid so they take a loss, they have to start over so they take a loss, in the end 9 out of 10 times the marriage then falls apart due to financial problems, once again another loss, and all because of us not doing our jobs properly.

Once again to those in or out of the paranormal industry…….STOP!!!!!

If you want to be called a professional then act like one.  And for those of you who are clients or might become clients, do not be afraid to speak up, ask questions, disagree if you need to, but DO NOT LET someone or a team come in a tear you and your family apart just because they want to say they have a haunting under their belt.

What most people in and out the paranormal field do not realize is that we are supposed to be disproving these things.  And then and only then when it can not be explained or debunked then maybe you have a haunting.  And there is no shame in getting a second opinion or someone to come in and help you with an investigation if you can not debunk something.  Some of us are better at that than others.

Keeping It Real

Truth Is Bulletproof

So many of us talk about wanting answers, but so many of us are willing to accept whatever is said to us.  It doesn’t matter if is believable or not nor if it is so far fetched that a five year old would know better.  We just accept what is said without question and go on. The sad part about this is how much damage this could and does cause. If you want the truth then why listen to lies?
We can and should do better than that.  If you are in a relationship or at work or around a friend and something sounds wrong or like a lie you question it so why not question the aspects of life and or life after death.  Are we really that gullible or just plain dumb?  Truth is bulletproof. And by that I simply mean that theories and lies can be blown away with the holes in the stories. But truth is truth and it is there no matter what.
That’s why here at Paresistance we thrive on truth.  Isn’t it the responsible thing to do?  Especially since we have so many television shows and so many who only seek fame and fortune instead of truth.
As you read in an earlier post being told the lies that so many seem to tell and even more seem to believe can be dangerous and hurtful.  Is this what you want?  Is this what you seek and desire?  If so go ahead and continue to watch and believe those who call themselves “professional ghost hunters”  or as I call them “the remakes of ghost busters” .
If we all take a stand saying we want the truth and the truth is all we will accept then the truth is what you shall receive.  Seek and learn the truth for the truth is bulletproof.
I will not apologize if this offends anyone simply because I believe in truth and if I say I’m sorry then I would be lieing.  Nit to mention if you get offended then the chances are you are guilty of this.  So instead of being offended change it and share what we believe in which is truth.

“Keeping It Real”

3rd times a charm right? Oh it better be, this will be the 3rd time I have attempted to write this blog. My computer clearly has betrayed me, now I’m blogging on my phone and this better work.
Well this is a heads up for all the paranormal “weekend warriors” out there, who probably don’t read this blog because we discuss the truth over here. When all you want is a pat on the ass from the community you don’t care about the truth.
A few years ago a woman down on Cape Cod killed her daughter trying to exorcise the devil from her. She was shoving something down the girl’s throat and choked her to death. Was this a case of genuine possession? Or was the mother just crazier than a shit house rat? I couldn’t tell you, unlike some people on this field I don’t pretend to know everything, or claim to be an expert, I have my opinion and if people don’t care for it oh friggin’ well….
Any moron can buy a recorder and a camera, then get their idiot friends to go trespass in a cemetery and call themselves a paranormal team-doesn’t make you anything but part of the problem. That’s another story…
Mental illness and medication issues….the potential explanation for all sorts of “paranormal activity”, hallucinations, auditory hallucinations, paranoia, panic attacks, all could be symptoms of certain mental disorders, or side effects of medication. Always ask your client about any history of mental illness or medication they may be taking. It could directly affect your investigation or your team. I happen to like my team, so I am not sending E.N.E.M.I. in anywhere where the clients may be unstable or even dangerous.
We recently took down a team who thought they could go into a home where they knew the son had mental issues, and claim he was possessed by a demon. This led to a psychological break and an attempted suicide after that team said he didn’t need to take his anti-depressants….bullshit.
We are there to investigate and debunk claims of paranormal activity, we are not therapists, psychologists, or pharmacists, know your friggin’ limitations- lives could hang in the balance. Just do your homework people, there’s a lot of shit you need to know about in the paranormal that doesn’t concern ghosts or spirits…knowledge is power- so arm yourself. Of course if your just a thrill seeker and learned all you know from Ghost Adventures, just stay the hell out of peoples homes…they don’t need para-tards like you making things worse…
